I am very pleased with the Tune-Up kit, and had no difficulty installing it on my furnace. The replacement parts have really made a difference in keeping moisture in the air on those bitterly cold Buffalo nights! I thought the cost of the Tune-Up kit was very reasonable for all the parts that it contained. However, in order to keep from having to replace the parts again in a few years due to build up of calcium, I have installed a water filter in the supply line. I will let you know in a few years if this has made a difference! Thank you for making this kit available.

Exactly what I needed to make it come to life again. We moved into a house where the previous homeowners had used the humidifier for a few years and then just shut it off. It was nasty and obviously un cared for. This kit replaced everything we needed to make it useful again. A piece of plastic for the float's on/off switch needed to be filed down a bit to keep it water tight which is why I gave it 4 out of 5. Simple fix, however, I didn't know what to do and had to get help from a family member (I'm not handy). Otherwise, it was perfect.

Would be nice if you could include several replacement rubber seats that is part of the float assembly. At one time you could purchase this part at sears. I don't see it in your available spare parts listing.

We just purchased our home with the general air 81 already installed. It was old and crusted up with mineral scum. I tried to clean it the best I could. I went onto your sight and found everything that I needed even a direction sheet on how to take it apart and put it back together. After we cleared the clogged water line and installed the new kit it ran like new. Shipping was quick and the order was complete. Many thanks, I will be ordering again.

Just want to say that i wish I had thought to check the website sooner. Was planning on just replacing our original Humidifier since we had so much calcium build up but decided to look to just replace the parts if I could find them. Normally I would just get what I needed at a local big box store and make it fit but the drum we had discarded was going to be a problem. Sometimes you feel like a fool when you find the solution is so simple. Once I checked the website and found all the parts I needed available in one kit, I was actually relieved, obviously I need to do this more often and replace these parts before I flood the basement again. The ONLY reason I am giving this 4 stars is that I am actually disappointed in the fact that my humidifier says it is made here in Canada but in order for me to get parts I needed to order them out of the US. Although far better than offshore, this is still a little troubling. As well, the only shipping option is UPS and anyone who has experienced their brokerage fees will know what I am talking about, USPS is a far better choice for cross border purchases in my opinion.

Thank you for shipping in a timely fashion. the only observation re: kit was that it did not include a washer which I had to take off my old unit & reuse. Also an instruction sheet suggesting that plumbers tape should be used on the reinstallation for the do-it yourself who might not know.
