The pad rails, which fit between the distributor trough and the drain pan, help to form the frame that holds the evaporator pad. At the end of the heating season, it’s a good idea to clean any excessive mineral deposits from the pad rails. It’s also necessary to replace the pad rails if they are cracked or damaged. Pad rails are also available as part of the 570 tune up kit, which saves 15% versus purchasing the items individually. Pad rails are sold individually and you will need 2 of them.
