Overview
The 727-5 drum end is part of the drum assembly, which performs an important function in the humidifier. The assembly sits in the water pan, and picks up water as it slowly spins. That water is converted into humidity and circulated into the air. The drum assembly consists of an evaporator sleeve, two drum ends held together with a retainer clip, and a drum shaft that runs through the center of the drum. If the drums ends are cracked or damaged, they should be replaced immediately for optimal performance. The 727-4 drum assembly is also available for easy, all-in-one replacement of the drum parts.
