Overview
The 727-8 splash guard is an important part of the 81-21 float valve assembly. The purpose of the splash guard is to protect the valve’s parts from water, which could otherwise splash onto the components and cause rust or damage over time. The guard should be replaced immediately if it is damaged. If the assembly is old, it may be a good idea to simply replace the whole float valve assembly.
