Overview
The GeneralAire 950-5 Humidifier Damper Disk is a crucial part of your humidifier system, used to adjust the amount of humidity the humidifier puts out. In winter, when moisture levels are lower, the damper needs to be open to account for the difference. Without the part, you won’t be able to adjust humidity levels for different times of year, which makes your humidifier less effective. Order your replacement damper now to keep your humidifier working properly.
The 950-5 damper disc attaches to the 950-2 side panel discharge through the 900-11 damper knob. Also known as the 7943, this damper disk is an OEM part and is designed to provide you with the proper humidification.
The spring is included with the replacement damper disk. Please note however the knob is sold separately (part number 900-11).
