Overview
The pad rails, which fit between the distributor trough and the drain pan, help to form the frame that holds the evaporator pad. At the end of the heating season, it’s a good idea to clean any excessive mineral deposits from the pad rails. It’s also necessary to replace the pad rails if they are cracked or damaged. Pad rails are sold individually and you will need 2 of them.
