Overview
The GeneralAire GA4004 strainer screen is an essential part of a properly working drain-type humidifier. The strainer screen, made of compressed brass particles, sits inside the solenoid valve, which turns the water on and off to the humidifier. Because particles in the water can clog the valve, a strainer screen is used to keep the valve clear. Included with the strainer screen is a helpful diagram for easy installation. The strainer screen should be replaced every two to three years to ensure effective filtration.
